The Location

Who are we?

Middle Farm is a family based farm just four miles from junction 10 of the M40 on the Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire border.

The farm comprises 350 hectares of combinable crops and 7,000 square foot of office space. The offices are in traditional stone buildings and are rented out the the commercial market on long or short-term agreements, they have plenty of car parking and excellent wifi.

The farm also has self-contained accommodation available for short holidays or business visits.

We are currently planning on building two acres of polytunnels to grow predominantly strawberries and other fruits, for the local markets and farm shops.

The farm is also a partner in NDR Arable, a joint venture with three neighbouring farmers, sharing farm machinery and labour requirements for all the combinable crops on the far. It also provides a contracting service within a 40 mile radius of the farm.

Middle Farm lies in peaceful, stunning countryside however still has close links to major motorways which makes London and The North easily accessible. Bicester North and Bicester Village train station are just 8 miles away and Heathrow, Birmingham and Luton Airport are in easy reach too.

The farm has plenty of walks which take you through the farm seeing various crops and a wide range of wildlife. We have recently been accepted to join the Mid-Tier Countryside Stewardship Scheme which will help maintain and improve the natural landscape, as well as preserve the watercourses and protect the wildlife. There are more walks further afield, which will take you across parkland to cosy, country pubs (Muddy Duck, Hethe; The Red Lion, Evenley; The Red Lion, Finmere), medieval villages and 12th century churches.

As well as idyllic walks, there are plenty of other activities close by. National trust properties include; Stowe, Waddesdon Manor, Claydon House, Canons Ashby, Lyveden and Chiltern Countryside. Blenheim Palace and Warwick Castle are close by too. We have Bicester Village Outlet Centre 8 miles away and great shopping at both Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon. Silverstone Circuit is 10 miles from the farm showcasing events such as The British Grand Prix and The British Moto GP.
